The Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission has commissioned the Mid-term Evaluation of the EU's Generalised Scheme of Preferences (GSP). The evaluation is performed by Development Solutions Europe Ltd. The kick-off meeting was held on 17 November 2016.

The inception report is the first deliverable of the evaluation. It describes the methodological approach proposed by the consultant, as well as the consultation strategy.

The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the objective of the study to the stakeholders, present and discuss the draft inception report, receive feedback and exchange further views on issues relevant for the evaluation.
