Vandoren (Trade.F.4, chairman), Strickland, Van Eeckhaute, Chirullo (Trade F.4), Ravillard (Markt), Notaro (Env), Beese (Sanco) DISCUSSION : The chair opened the meeting by making the point of the situation: the TRIPs Council is dealing with several aspects of the Agreement, including geographical indications, Article 27.3(b), the review of the implementation of the TRIPs or access to health. Moreover, a New Round could be launched in Qatar in November. In this context the Issue Group (IG) will meet in order to bring together NGOs, industries, institutions and other stakeholders and have them share their views.
