    • Abstract: The European Commission (DG Trade) awarded a contract to Ecorys to conduct a trade sustainability impact assessment (Trade SIA) in support of the negotiations on a comprehensive trade and investment agreement between the EU and the USA. This is the final inception report for the Trade SIA of this agreement. This inception report summarises the most important methodological components of our study and highlights some of the main issues that will warrant further attention and focus during the implementation of the study – both in terms of content and in terms of organisation and planning of the project.
