EU-Colombia/Peru Trade Agreement – Public Meeting with civil society on Trade and Sustainable Development

This page describes past events and is no longer updated.

On 7 February the European Commission, together with its Colombian and Peruvian partners, will be holding a public meeting in the Peruvian capital Lima to look at how the sustainable development provisions of the trade agreement between them are being implemented.

The gathering will be the first open meeting of the Subcommittee on Trade and Sustainable Development set up under the EU-Colombia/Peru Trade Agreement.

During the session, officials from the European Commission and the Colombian and Peruvian governments will brief stakeholders on progress so far. Stakeholders will then have the opportunity to comment and express their views.

DG Trade encourages organisations in the DG Trade civil society network to attend the meeting and to contact locally engaged members and any partner organisations in the region that may be able to attend.
