This page describes past events and is no longer updated.

From 30 November to 1st December 2010 in Kampala (Uganda) the EU-ACP organisation Pro€Invest and the European Commission (Trade Directorate-General) hosted an information seminar on the EU-EAC (East Africa Community) Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).

The TRINNEX (Trade & Investment Nexus) event brought together representatives of private sector intermediary organisations from EAC countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and Rwanda) with a view to help stakeholders better understand the EPA and its concrete impact on business realities. Issues addressed included trade facilitation, standards, rules of origin, and all practical aspects involved in exporting to the EU and at regional level.
