Stakeholder seminar on how to raise awareness on EU trade policy

On the occasion of the Polish Presidency, DG Trade will organise together with the Polish Presidency the second edition of the EU Trade Policy Seminars in Warsaw on 8 November 2011. The aim is to raise awareness on trade policy at EU level among economic operators in Member States that recently joined the EU. With such seminar the European Commission will ensure a better outreach of the different consultations and information mechanisms of EU trade policy to economic operators in these Member States.

The seminar will bring together economic operators and administrations from all Member States in order to address outstanding problems and best practices.

The seminar will include an introduction of high level representatives from the Polish Presidency and the European Commission, followed by a number of workshops chaired by representatives of DG Trade, Member States administrations and economic operators.

  • Languages: the conference will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation provided into and from Polish.
  • Travel/accommodation: participants are responsible for all their travel and accommodation arrangements as well as for registration.
  • Food arrangements: a buffet lunch and a cocktail will be offered.
