The European Commission and ITC launch a call for input for the Fair and Ethical Trade award

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is launching the first ’EU Cities for Fair and Ethical Trade’ Award, on behalf of the European Commission.

This project responds to the European Commission's 'Trade for All' investment strategy, which calls for a values-based trade agenda. By promoting fair and ethical trade schemes, the strategy aims to develop more sustainable trade opportunities for small producers in third countries.

As preparations for the Award continue, the ITC is gathering input from the public on the application process, including the application form.

Anyone interested can send their input and comments until the 11th September 2017.
