Exports are key to Combilift, a forklift truck manufacturer based in Monaghan, Ireland. Since the EU trade agreement with Peru came into force in 2013, the company has experienced first-hand a number of practical benefits: thanks to the recognition of the CE certification by Peruvian customs, goods imported from the EU no longer have to be inspected on arrival. Such simplified procedures have been key to increasing exports to Peru as well as confidence in doing business in the region.
