EORI number

Traders established in the customs territory of the Union need an Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number for customs purposes, e.g. to lodge a customs declaration.

Traders not established in the customs territory of the Union may also need an EORI number in specific situations.

Businesses and persons wishing to trade must use the EORI number as an identification number when exchanging information with customs administrations in all customs procedures.
