The Access2Procurement tool, which also covers the United States, allows vendors to quickly check if they may participate in a public procurement competition outside the EU.
Staff members from the European Commission - Lucian Cernat, Head of Global Regulatory Cooperation and International Procurement Negotiations in Brussels, and Eike Klapper, an EU diplomat in Washington D.C. working on transatlantic industrial policy and public procurement — will discuss how the online tool works, and how it can open transborder trade in procurement.
