Combined Nomenclature and Common Customs Tariff applicable in the EU from 1 January 2025
On 31 October, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2024/2522 amending Annex I to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 on the tariff and statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff was published. This Regulation establishes the latest version of the Combined Nomenclature (CN) and the Common Customs Tariff applicable from 1 January 2025.

EU Commission imposes countervailing duties on imports of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) from China
Definitive countervailing duties on imports of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) from China have been adopted by the EU Commission under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2754, applicable as of 30 October 2024. The investigation carried out has concluded that the BEV value chain in China benefits from unfair government subsidies that are causing a threat of economic injury to EU BEV producers.
