Company story:

EU agreements level the playing field in Ukraine

Since the conclusion of the EU trade agreement with Ukraine in 2016, we've seen changes for the better
Dušan Kožušník, CEO, Compelson

Crime and terrorism are international problems and Compelson, based in Prague, Czechia, wants to bring international solutions to keep citizens safe. The company provides software enabling forensic investigation of mobile phones, which the police use for criminal justice purposes. Since the introduction of the trade deal with Ukraine in 2016, Compelson has benefitted from reduced paperwork when trading with this country. The biggest advantage, however, has been greater transparency in public procurement and, as a result, greater access to high-level contracts. These contracts are now published openly allowing suppliers in Ukraine and the EU to bid on a level playing field. Watch the video to see how your business can benefit from EU trade agreements too.
